- Bimlyte
To open a project, go to the Projects page and click it. To open a .bimlyte file someone shared, click Import on the Projects page and select the file.
There are two ways into a project: open one that already lives in this browser, or import a .bimlyte file you received from someone else.
Steps
Open an existing project
For a project already saved in this browser on this device.
Open the Projects page
Click Projects in the sidebar to see every project saved in this browser.
Click the project to open
Click the project you want. It opens right away.
Import a .bimlyte file
For a .bimlyte package someone shared with you.
Open Projects and click Import
On the Projects page, click Import in the top-right corner and select the .bimlyte file.
Enter the password, if the file is protected
If the .bimlyte file is password-protected, a dialog asks for the password. Enter it to continue — you should get this password from the person who created the .bimlyte file.
Resolve a conflict, if any
If the project already exists in this browser, a Project already exists dialog appears. Choose Import as copy to keep both as separate projects, Replace to overwrite the existing one, or Cancel to stop.
Projects live in this browser on this device, and a shared .bimlyte file imports the same way — no installation required.
