Create a Bimlyte project

To create a Bimlyte project, click + New project on the Home screen, enter a name in the dialog, and click Create — Bimlyte opens the new project for you.

A project keeps your models, issues, saved views and settings together, stored on your device. You can start a new one in two places: from the Home screen or from the Projects view.

Steps

  1. Start a new project

On the Home screen, click + New project. You can also open Projects in the sidebar and click + New project in the toolbar.

  2. Create the project

In the New project dialog, enter a Name (required) and, optionally, a Description. Keep Include default attributes checked to start with Bimlyte's standard BCF attribute set — priorities, stages, labels, statuses, and types — or uncheck it to start with a clean set. Click Create.

  3. Open the project

Bimlyte creates the project and takes you straight to its Files page, ready for your IFC models and BCF issues.

Your project is stored by the browser on this device, not on a server. Export a .bimlyte package if you want a copy to back up or share.
